WhatsApp is a messaging app that allows you to send text messages, photos, and videos to your contacts with no hassle. The app also allows you to create a group with up to 500 members.
But that’s not why we are here. In this article, you’ll learn how to reply unknown person on WhatsApp. This would help you detect bad people, invaders, and protect your phone’s data or from running into bad People.
Is It Safe To Reply to Unknown WhatsApp Messages?
If you are not techy, then we don’t advise you to reply to an unknown WhatsApp number. It’s not worth the risk. In fact, it’s more than likely that the unknown number texting you on WhatsApp is trying to steal your data, scam you or probably he is looking for a way to get money from you or hurt you.
If you’re chatting with an unknown number on WhatsApp, it’s unlikely that they’re after your data. They may try to trick you into giving them money or installing malware on your device.
If an unknown number contacts you and asks for personal data such as Email password, bank details or credit card numbers then you don’t need anybody to tell you the person is a hacker and it doesn’t worth the risk to give out this information, as these people could try getting access by impersonating someone else (for example pretending they were from your bank or the police).
Also, it is possible that the unknown number could be your old-time friend, wrong number or someone who don’t intend to harm you.
Be careful what information you share
The most important thing to remember when replying to an unknown WhatsApp message is that you should not share any personal information. This includes your Email password, bank details and credit card details, name, address, and so forth You also do not want to reply with your email address or any other form of identification that could be used against you later on in case someone finds out who they are targeting.
How To Reply Unknown Person on WhatsApp
If you get an unknown message on WhatsApp, do not respond to them. If the person sending a message is unknown to you and they want to chat with someone else in your contact list (such as your friend or family member), then ask them if they would like to chat with that person instead of responding directly with “yes” or “no”.
The same goes for spam calls and texts; if there’s no call-ID number provided by the caller (or text) then ignore it until it stops bothering you, and let those people know why.
Although some usually ignore the risks and reply to a message, they didn’t send. But I don’t fancy the idea because it can lead to identity theft and fraud. If someone sends you an unsolicited message on WhatsApp or any other social media platform asking for personal information, it doesn’t worth the risk to reply them unless you know who they are and why they need your personal information.
Also remember that criminals trying to trick victims into giving up their bank account details or credit card numbers send some spam messages so that they can steal money from them; others may be scams designed specifically as part of elaborate schemes (e-mails claiming bodily injury after car accidents being one example). Always double-check any unfamiliar requests: if there’s no reason anyone should send those kinds of messages directly at all then there must be something else going on here…
So should you reply to an unknown WhatsApp message? The answer is no. But if you must do, be aware of what kind of information you’re sharing and how the conversation will unfold.

How To Unblock Unknown Number on WhatsApp
NOTE: Unblocking a contact does not restore the messages you have previously sent to them.
You can unblock a contact from the chat screen by going back into their conversation, tapping on their name and then scrolling down to tap Unblock.
Alternatively, if you wish to unblock someone from your profile screen, go into your WhatsApp settings and select “Block” under Blocked Contacts. You will then be able to find that person in this list of blocked contacts alongside all other contacts that are currently blocked for you (if any). If there is no option for blocking under Blocked Contacts, then it means none of these people are currently being blocked for privacy reasons but because they have been added as friends recently enough that their phone number has not yet been added into this list.
